Jump to Photos. Pinecrest Lake Campground has single-family campsites mixed use , with many shaded by trees in the high-altitude air of the Pinecrest Basin. The campground is located near the southwest side of the acre Pinecrest Lake. There are no RV hookups. Each campsite also has a paved parking spur, table, fire ring and grill. You can stay up to 14 consecutive days and the maximum occupancy is six people per campsite. Campground amenities include drinking water and flush toilets. Water spigots are locvated throughout the campground. Firewood, ice, groceries and supplies are sold at the store.

I would never make a camping reservation without looking at the campsite photos and comments. I used to think that snagging a water site at a state campground was only for the lucky few who were quick on a keyboard. The sites are close to the beach and can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs up to 40 feet. We have a large 5th wheel and there are definitely sites that would not accommodate our trailer due to various obstacles. The work that Dave has done to create and improve this site is worth every penny of the minimal yearly membership fee. Because of the photos were able to pick a specific site to our needs. It's a great tool. Nevada State Parks now accepts reservations at most of its state parks, state recreation areas and state historic parks. Base camp is a very worthwhile tool. Banning State Park Campground has 34 single-family campsites and is located in a forested area near the Kettle River with plenty to discover.
