We adopted Marley whippet pitbull mix from the animal shelter. We learned he was born into and rescued from the largest dog fight bust in the USA. Marley is 1 year and 3 months old and before we adopted him, he never had a home. He was rescued from the dog fights when he was 2 months old and lived in the shelter since then. Marley had also lived in the shelter longer than any other dog. He is the best dog we could ever ask for. He is a cuddler and is actually laying in my lap right now. He loves to play fetch and he is his happiest outside running around but also loves being a couch potato. He has become a part of the family and I love him so much and cannot imagine my life without him. The moment I saw him I fell in love with him and I thank God everyday for blessing me with this amazing companion.

Bull whippets will be keen to explore the outdoors and need plenty of exercise, they will chase prey animals so be sure to keep them on a leash when walking in woodlands and areas that they could bolt after prey. This gives them a strong advantage when it comes to longevity, as they are less prone to vulnerabilities and diseases and can often fight illness very well. Bull whippets have around the same life expectancy as other whippet mixes, around 12 — 15 years.
