Boston public library fallout 4
Boston Public Library was the main public library in Boston and the United States ' second-largest library, home to a vast amount of books and historical records. The library offered lectures, readings, recitals and art and architectural tours. After the War, Curator Givens led a crew to the library to retrieve and preserve any surviving information, but decades of neglect, water damage, looting and vandalism had ruined most of the books. The relentless super mutant attacks eventually killed the team. Similar to certain other municipal buildings including some hospitals and police stations , the library has a book return terminal where overdue books can be returned in exchange for book return tokens , which in turn can be used to obtain various prizes. The library is occupied by Mk 1 turrets , Protectrons and leveled super mutants. The library's main entrance is an Advanced-locked door on the west side of the building. Passing an easy speech check at the nearby intercom will unlock the door, and will also trick the security system into thinking the player character is an employee, making all turrets and Protectrons inside the library friendly towards the player character. Attacking a friendly turret or Protectron will then result in combat with that unit only. Inside the main entrance, a tripwire triggers a three- grenade bouquet.

I'd live in this place if it weren't for all the Mutants. Today's humanity could greatly benefit from any knowledge within these walls. AdicusDiojr Topic Creator 8 years ago 8. It almost seems like maybe they were reworking the objects of the room and forgot to put the terminal back on the computer. Not every day you find the content existing in the game. AdicusDiojr 8 years ago 1 While screwing around with "Public Knowledge" Quest in the Library which wouldn't update the overdue book marker at the book return kiosk becuase I inadvertently returned it to another kiosk, I found an overdue book quest in the console after searching help overdue 4. Listening to this station opens up the Curtain Call side quest. The last updated log implies the curator was expecting it to be his last, then there's a mention about a key to a storage room where the main computer is, and asks that if someone does use the key and take the items, that they at least "help the cause" which seems to imply transferring the books to data or possibly collecting more books, but again it's vague and nothing updated. The curator's dead body is in the computer room, and another library worker's dead body is around as well. Inside you will find protectrons and turrets that you can utilize to fight off the super mutants. My new game is stuck forever loading, and I have mods installed? Perhaps it is triggered by a random event later in the game?
Note: There are two of these specialized vending machines located in the building. One is located in the northern corner the balcony overlooking the subway entrance. The other next to the northern wall of the side entrance.
