Now, can I keep that playthrough and change the difficulty up AND down at will? Ultimate Vault Hunter mode is designed to be super difficult. Now, you will not be forced to stay in UVHM, you can change to any other mode by selecting your character and selecting another mode. I wouldn't recommend for you to solo it, but if you can find some same level friends the level of enemies are around the same level as the highest level on your team it will help you a lot. You can reset it at any start you are asked again. Enemies will be tougher your level and higher and the loot will be appropriate.

The recommended level of entry into this mode is around True Vault Hunter Mode is the same game of Borderlands 2 , except it starts up with your character at the exact same state they were in during the regular campaign. Your character will start with all of the weapons , skills, XP, money, even ammo, that they had when you finished the campaign for the first time. This is good news if you are going for Capped Out For Now , as you can more easily level again with higher-level enemies. Enemies in True Vault Hunter Mode are harder to defeat. They all have leveled with you, so it is the same level of difficulty as when you started for the first time. Enemies also are slightly different, with new types thrown in to the mix. For example, right at the start all of the Bullymongs now are Savage Bullymongs , with buffed stats. An example of a new enemy includes Armored Psychos, who have full-body armor now.

Sure the enemies are harder, but it makes you think about your strategies and how to play to your character's strengths. Ask A Question. What is a good XP farm? Side Quest. DLC raid bosses will drop Seraph items and Seraph Crystals If you care about Seraph gear, or just want things to be a little harder then go for it. Did they make the Vault Hunters Relic work or am I just having the best damn luck of my life? Well you do have more chance of winning than the VHR actually doing anything. If anything, it's there to justify the endless grind for unique gear combinations that "might" help you through it. But the level increases are two separate packs. I like to feel a sense of progress so every now and then I'd like to change it back down to TVHM and smite some old bosses that gave me fits. Although then I thought: maybe instead of experiencing all the same content again, wouldn't it be wiser to play a completely new story with new places and new guns? If I don't have any of the level raising DLC? If you already know the story of BL2 and all it's dlc then experience the aftermath that was set before UVHM would be different in the following ways: 1.
