Terrible seat. Poor aircraft choice by AA for a coast to coast flight. Very good legroom, but unable to recline because of the exit behind. This felt like less leg room than the standard seats and with limited shortage it was not worth the upgrade fee. This makes no sense to me. They wont allow coach passengers to use the first class bathroom, saved just for the crew and 16 lucky elite passengers. Not a great seat for a 4 hour flight. Even though I have gold status, all the bins were full back to row 21! Non-alcoholic beverages are complimentary. Helpful ticket attendant at arrival gate printed my seat details and told me to apply for refund. This prevents the passenger from sitting straight in the seat. There are lines constantly in back, and the flight crews turn on the seat belt sign at almost any sign of light bumps. Restroom was the smallest I have ever seen.

I like the misaligned window. My movement felt very restricted. Every movement they make makes the chair shake as well as the desk. Only a very small bag fit underneath the seat because of the electronics boxes. Seat is also very narrow. Don't pay extra for these seats. And 7A, being against the fuselage seems even more narrow. Premium dining is offered in the First Class cabin. It also reduces sear width since it almost 3 inches from the fuselage unlike regular seats. I paid extra for this seat!! The bottom of the seat slides forward a bit and the back reclines.
