Izuku Midoriya is the main protagonist of My Hero Academia. But it seems that his persistence has borne some fruit: Izuku meets the number one hero and his personal idol, All Might. All Might's quirk is a unique ability that can be inherited, and he has chosen Izuku to be his successor!

Beyond the heroes, My Hero Academia has introduced the fandom to the new antagonist, Overhaul, and his plot to destroy a world where quirks run rampant. He believes that this was only possible due to the fact that he already knew he had something to strive towards. He dedicated his life to a strict regime of training, long and hard, to reach the standard that All Might had set. Because of this, Endeavor has found himself completely unprepared for the true duties that come with being the symbol of peace. Overhaul is almost always seen as calm, cool and collected. Even when facing down some of the strongest heroes currently in the professional hero business. By placing himself and his plans above everyone and everything around him, Overhaul has successfully isolated himself, leaving no one around when he really needs a team rather than a set of tools. Something that truly separates him from his counterpart Tomura Shigaraki.

Izuku Midoriya es el protagonista de la serie. Bakugou es un personaje que cuenta con la habilidad de transformar su sudor en nitroglicerina y generar explosiones controladas y desmesuradas dependiendo de sus intenciones. Es uno de los personajes con mayor control y conocimiento de su propia habilidad, siendo un verdadero rival para Midoriya. Kirishima admira la caballerosidad y el buen comportamiento sobre todas las cosas, y se vuelve un buen amigo de Midoriya por sus cualidades heroicas y gran voluntad. Uraraka es una de las primeras personas que le muestra amabilidad a Midoriya cuando llega a la academia UA, y gracias a ella, pudo demostrar sus tendencias heroicas al sacrificar su puntaje para salvarle la vida. Debido a este suceso, Uraraka se vuelve una gran amiga del chico y comienza a admirar su voluntad y ganas de salir adelante. Su habilidad consiste en hacer objetos y personas flotar cuando los toca. Incluso, puede flotar ella misma, pero suele sufrir de mareos. Su habilidad es hacr todo lo que hace una rana, incluyendo estirar su lengua hasta varios metros de distancia.
