Blood of the Dead is the third Zombies map that is featured in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4and the twenty-seventh map overall.

Welcome to Alcatraz Island. This map is what many consider to be the hardest Zombies map in Black Ops 4 , and possibly the entire series, both in terms of gameplay and achievements. Definitely be careful, as this map will put your skills to the test. Blood of the Dead has two power switches on different sides of the map that you'll need to activate in order to be able to access all the map has to offer. NOTE: When both power switches have been activated, a guaranteed warden is going to spawn. Be ready to kill it and grab its key if you didn't already.

For the original map, see Mob of the Dead. It is the twenty-seventh overall Treyarch Zombies map. However, due to Albert "Weasel" Arlington changing the Kronorium due to him killing the other 3 mobsters , Primis end up trapped in the purgatory and must escape. A few locations within the map were altered or removed for various reasons, a good example being the Golden Gate Bridge, and a few of the locations for aircraft parts on Mob of the Dead. Brutus also makes a return, this time as the main antagonist of the map, as the Warden. In parallel to the original Mob of the Dead, Hellhounds are also featured in the map, and adhere to the same traditional mechanics. The starting room. It is a standard laboratory that utilizes the Model Industries building. There are cryogenic pods that hold the bodies of the Vitcis Tranzit crew, from when Richtofen helped them escape Buried. Leaving the old Model Industries building will find the player outside, where they can choose to go through the New Model Industries building, or the Power House, where a temporary power switch that powers this specific area of the map. The Brew machine can also be found outside the Power House, as well as a tunnel that houses a Buildable table and a part for the Acid Gat kit. After turning on the switch in the Power House, the Catwalk is now accessable.
