Initially a minor character appearing in a stand-alone episode during the first season, Blair joins the central cast at the beginning of the third after proving her worth as a Duelist. In the first season, Blair was a shy, love-struck but highly intelligent young girl. She had an insane crush on Zane, but switched to a crush on Jaden by the end of her first episode. She has aced perfectly on all her entry exams and was almost ranked to Ra Yellow. When she returned near the end of season 2, she kept her crush on Jaden but grew up greatly became much more developed, much more mature and even developed a sort of leadership role. In the dub, Blair takes on a Brooklyn accent beginning with her reappearance at the second season's conclusion though she seems to lose it later on. During her Duel with Chazz she also made some egg puns "that's no yoke", "eggcelent".

Duel Links. GX anime. She was exclusive to the special event Blair Flannigan's Maiden in Love , only being able to be dueled or unlocked during the event. However, as of July 28, , she is now unlockable via Character Unlock missions. As a big fan of Zane Truesdale Blair wanted to go to the same school as him. But there's one problem:She's too young to enroll. Therefore, she wore a disguise to enter Duel Academy before she was old enough to attend. Though she was caught and forced to leave. Blair was able to re-enroll after finishing 2nd in the GX Tournament. And along the way, her eyes switched from Zane to a different target. With her "Maiden of Love" card, she hopes her crush on Jaden comes to fruition. When dueling against Level 40 Blair Flannigan, these are the only cards that can drop; at lower levels, cards from the standard pool for Legendary Duelists may also drop.

In the original, she refers to herself with "boku," a word for "I" typically spoken by young males, though its use by females is not unheard of. Though in the Tag Duel against Jaden and Alexis, when speaking to Jaden, Blair called herself "watashi", a significantly more formal personal pronoun that females often use.
GX series in the Virtual Dueling System. Duel Generation. The player has to defeat her in a Duel in order to unlock the next stage and progress Campaign mode. As a Duelist Construct, her appearance is based on Blair Flannigan , and the outfit is what she normally wore once she was officially enrolled into Duel Academy during the Yu-Gi-Oh! GX anime series. In Duel Academy, there are three uniforms that the student can wears and these uniforms are assigned to the students according to their academic placement except female students can only be placed in Obelisk blue.

She can be found in the Slifer Red dorm disguised as a boy, either in the Cafeteria or in Bawnji 's room, where she will mention Zane and blush but not say much else. If the player shows Blair a barette , a bandanna , and a hat , obtained by having their relations with Zane, Syrus and Alexis reach at least 4 hearts, Blair will run off and disappear from the overworld for the most part. She can only be found during classtime, at the top-left of the Slifer Red dorm's empty area, and will be undisguised. Blair's Deck Recipes are obtained separately, and she gives the player a different reward for each. Her disguised self gives the player 1 " Muka Muka ", while obtaining her second Deck Recipe has her giving the player 3 copies of " Maiden in Love ".

The deck's full mechanics are not explored, but it seems to revolve around summoning monsters by the effect of " Mystic Egg " and using " Mystic Revolution " to evolve them into powerful high-level forms. She took Duel Academy's entrance examination for the express purpose of seeing him every day. Seeing her beloved Judai every day seems to have been her reason to skip grades and enter Duel Academy. During the school's first survival duel she watches Jaden and Jesse's Duel and gets annoyed when she finds out Jesse does not have " Rainbow Dragon " in his deck. The reunited pair of Jaden and Alexis then went on to win the Duel. And it appears she hijacked Jun Manjoume's room for her own use.
