While the Black Blade Kindred cannot fit inside the Bestial Sanctum it guards, many of its attacks can still reach you. However, riding around behind the sanctum or behind Gurranq can sometimes cause the gargoyle to reset its aggro without resetting health - allowing you to quick hit and run attacks. Otherwise, you should prepare to tackle this foe with a strengthened spirit summon like the Mimic Tear or other legendary ashes that can hold its aggro to help make the fight easier. The Black Blade Kindred has a good range of moves, most of which have a lengthy start-up animation, and it can swap between using its short sword or halberd with a flashy weapon swapping attack. This can be a tough fight due to the immense damage and health the Black Blade Kindred has, but if you defeated the Valiant Gargoyles in Siofra you'll have a bit of an easier time once leveled up, since there's only one to deal with, and you can still summon spirits.
