The Folgore appeared in the Bianchi catalogue between and and was ridden to victories by Fausto Coppi at the Milano-Sanremo and at the Giro d'Italia. The Bianchi Folgore is a lightweight frameset which illustrates particularly refined details like the headtube with integrated headset common to all Bianchi racing bikes of that era , chromed lugs and fork crown , seat-tube mounted chain oiler and bottom bracket with integrated oiler. According to the serial number this Bianchi Folgore dates back to late 40s. The bicycle underwent a professional refurbishment to be brought back to its former glory.
