In the new timeline , Bi-Han is the rightful successor to be Grandmaster of the Lin Kuei, of which he becomes. He is the older brother of Kuai Liang, this timeline's Scorpion, and the adoptive brother of Smoke. After becoming Grandmaster, Bi-Han grows tiresome of being at Liu Kang's side of defending Earthrealm, wishing to help lead it to glory instead. In MK , as with Scorpion and Reptile , Sub-Zero appeared with the traditional palette swap look he and the other ninjas had.
