Other than that, the food options are great, and it is a family friendly place. I definitely have returned. The Grilled Caesar Salad was different and uniquely flavorful. The wine is a perfect pairing taste to the pizza. Service was well-timed and friendly. The pizza is head-and-shoulders above anything you get at the chains and the service is excellent as well. Really good value per dollar spent. Couldn't make em better myself. Staff is nice as well.

The owner is a very very friendly person who will go out of their way to make sure that every customer is satisfied. I had the Lomo Saltado for dinner, and it was delicious! We were back in Springfield recently and had lunch at Roots. We had two cheese Tostones and a beef Tostone for starters. The cheese Tostones were very good, but the beef Tostone was great!
