Wbis 1 year ago 4 Yeh Gurranq is kind of annoying imo, the wind ups for his attacks are weird and slow and they'll take him out of range etc. I had this same problem with Mohg's fight in the Shunning grounds, because that chapel is fairly enclosed and strikes with his trident reach up or out off screen. So apparently the DLC will nerf high level characters link inside. Get your 1 attack in, then rinse and repeat until either he goes to phase 2 or you pass out from boredom. I find his two-quick-dagger-swipes attack equally as obnoxious and frustrating as Waterfowl Dance and Elden Stars. Tis no matter. Mechanically this boss reminds me of Ludwig; a wild and agile beast-like 1st phase, replaced by a proud, noble, powerful, knightly 2nd phase.
