Silly to not even offer people water for free when they are paying so much for tickets. You get what you pay for. However, food options are limited and cash only, Crew is a hit and miss.. Good leg room They got to the terminal late, with no one on the arriving flight, boarded us late, and left us sitting there for 2 hours before they got us off the ground. They knew they were going to be late, yet they never got an updated flight plan from their head office until long after the flight was supposed to leave.

Excellent services Pros: For the price that we paid, it included 30kg baggage and refreshment orange juice, water, coffee, a slice of pizza and a muffin - it was worth it, batik air reviews. Treat this airline as one of the better LCC options with checked baggage included.

Since its launch, Batik Air has grown very quickly, now operating a mixed fleet of Boeing s and Airbus As, along with a couple of elusive Airbus A aircraft. However, whilst the airline seemed to have high aspirations during its launch, it seems to have come to share a lot more similar traits with its parent. This price was around IDR, pricier than low-cost carriers like Jetstar and AirAsia, but I gladly paid it due to the frills they supposedly offered including checked bags and meals. Interestingly, after payment, I received an email confirmation and tickets that were sent from Lion Air. Whilst Batik Air generally offers paid frills on their domestic flights, it is interestingly not possible to select or even pay for seats on international itineraries. In fact, nothing can be done on their website after booking, with the exception of adding extra bags to your reservation. For this Yet, as I quickly found out, that was unnecessary, since the terminal was by no means busy. It only seems interesting that a supposed premium subsidiary is placed among low-cost carriers… but who am I to say, right? Batik Business Class passengers, however, have a single dedicated check-in desk.
