The Annual Islamic Eid Show is a not-for-profit organisation which prides itself on giving back to the community for over a decade. The show sees tens of thousands of people from a range of cultural and religious backgrounds converge at the Bankstown Showground annually to enjoy and participate in this unique family-friendly event. We invite all members from the public to be part of our wonderful community event. Attracting more than 1. The spectacular month-long cultural event is a vibrant, global food bazaar during the month of Ramadan. Break your fast or try new foods and experience the rich culture and traditions of Ramadan. There will be over 65 food stalls to tempt your tastebuds, in an atmosphere like no other. There is very limited parking so make sure you avoid the crowds by using the FREE shuttle bus, brought to you by Western Union, starting from 6. Additionally, stalls will operate for the local community, Monday to Wednesday, 6pm-3am, 9 March-8 April. Note: Road closures will be in place every day from 9 March—8 April between 5pm and 3am.

Bankstown eid festival

Started in by the Bankstown City Council , the event is held annually in July and includes cooking demonstrations, live performances, tours of local food outlets, activities for the kids and food stalls. An estimated 10, people attend each year. Local and celebrity chefs conduct cooking demonstrations. Discovery Food Tours take place during the festival, which are themed tours. The festival also has activities like cooking classes, sustainability displays and food craft, rides and puppet shows for kids.

The Eid Show is a sheltered event and will operate in rain, hail or shine. Register your contact details at the information desk and collect a FREE identity wristband for your child.
