The new day camp programming has been reviewed by Niagara Region Public Health and operates in accordance with Ontario Ministry of Health guidelines for day camp operators. There are changes to regular camp programming, such as age cohort groups, mandatory daily health screening and physically distanced activities. Our Junior Campers ages will get a chance to explore the forest, discover our heritage, learn outdoor survival skills, conduct science experiments, roast marshmallows over a campfire, and so much more! These campers can join us for a day or the whole week, each week will be different and full of fun! See our descriptors of each week below.

Balls falls summer camp

Outdoor, rain or shine, programs give students regular access to a green-space they can call their own. Students of all ages will benefit in countless ways with unstructured time in nature. Our indoor classroom is nature-based, with materials that promote open-ended play, authentic learning and creativity; rich in opportunities for art, inquiry and project-based learning. Students will participate in gardening and greening projects, revitalization of habitats and ecological restoration projects, composting, recycling and reduction of waste. Anything we can do to promote stewardship in our students. We have programs in Beamsville and St. Catharines, for ages 3. All the proceeds from these programs cover the costs for rentals and equipment, any additional funds go towards the acquisition of a permanent space. We see ourselves as becoming a hub for the city and Niagara, where organizations and individuals can combine their efforts to help save the world! Our fully outdoor Nature programs are designed to connect children with Nature in an authentic way through independent exploration and inquiry. Your donation goes directly to our bursary fund! Liberty Park Y on the Fly is a mobile YMCA that visits neighborhoods and offers free programs aimed to help youth of all ages stay active and engaged in mind, body, and spirit. This is open to any youth years old, balls falls summer camp. Activities include demonstrations in the decorated pioneer cabin and Ball homestead, sampling hot mulled cider and cookies, a sing-along in the country church, and the creation of a small keepsake craft to take home.

This outdoor space is perfect for actives, games and creativity. Discover biodiversity and locate the habitats of our forest friends! Campers will journey into the wilderness to learn about plants, animals, and insects using scientific inquiry skills.

However, note that trails are natural and not maintained for winter recreation. Conservation area visitors are reminded to take precaution and prepare appropriately for the weather and trail conditions, especially when inclement weather and conditions may arise.
