Apologies for the newbie question here, but I have an excel spreadsheet which I use to help me calculate position size, amount babypips pip calculator and potential reward. This is all based on calculating the pip value. I trade with Alpari UK.

This is sometimes impossible for me to calculate the pip value. I found many online calculators which will help me to calculate. However, I want to do it manually. We trade lots units , or fractions of lots — mini-lots units , micro-lots units , etc. So, we are concerned with the value of one pip multiplied by the size of our trades.

You have been a member for 3 years but do not yet know the most basic things imaginable. I am not saying this to be rude to you but to urge you to read the School of Pipsology. Otherwise you will continue not to know the basics and to be full of misplaced, misguided ideas about forex trading many of which are very apparent in your other threads!! I know this. That why i say it an example. So, if there any indicator which i place on chart and it shows data for that particular chart. Or any EA which i place on one chat and it shows data for all the pairs in one chart. Thanks for Pips value calculator. I am looking for Indicator or EA because to show pips values in metatrader itself. So, i do not have to calculate each time manually. What is this additional section in calculator. Or am I missing something? Although you did not enter a leverage figure into your calculation, leverage is implied in the math. Thanks for the reply and the formula, which will be really useful, however! Leverage is different for every position size you enter. Since few day I am searching the correct way to calculate lot size however I just cannot find it.

This should be sufficient for pip price at a certain price though it is not exact for over a large range of movement as the pip value varies with price.
