I use it all the time, it is a complex piece of software and has a huge number of configuration settings so it does take a while to get the hang of but I expect once you get it running as you want it, you will never look back. Biggest plus point is the huge number of accents, automatically associated with appropriate airlines, and their countries for ATC. Second biggest plus point is that it uses realistic transition levels rather than around the world although you can modify them all to or what you like if you want! Biggest negative point is that the recordings were made many years ago so they do not include recent airlines. In theory they could be created like EditVoicePack but the sheer number of voices make that an unpalatable idea.

Yes they do. They cover the arrival STAR and read the coded altitudes. Since MSFS is the literally size of the world, the waypoints positions fit perfectly. If some internal calculation is done then ATC can figure your current altitude and the first waypoint restriction and tell you when to descend. No, I mean in reality, Seatac will never land on all 3 runways. The airport will never intentionally use all 3 runways for arrivals at once. Easy fix. Download ADE for MSFS, open the airport up, there you can edit and change which runways you want for dep and arr, recompile and save. ATC should reflect those changes. Just happened to be testing some video tweaks to my Oculus Quest 2 and captured it all. I am not on the beta.

Thanks, Dave. The built-in FS ATC gives you vectors which depend on the angle you are approaching your chosen runway from. This only varies with the flight plan, so if you always fly that approach you'll always get the same vectors, which will be a zig-zag path across your flightplan's direct path. The last time I accepted vectors was a good 10 years ago. When offered vectors say no you would like to fly an approach. My FS Videos.

I like PFE better because it has far more regional voice sets for the controllers and AI pilots than does RC, which increases the realism and immersion factors for me, and works seamlessly with their other "must have" IMHO software, Flight Deck Companion. However, I used Radar Contact for quite a long time though, and there are many here who will argue with me that it is superior. With either one, I don't feel you can lose. I have never used them myself for various personal reasons. Hope this helps.
