Ark organic polymer
Organic Polymer is a naturally obtained resource that can be used as a direct substitute of Polymer for the purposes of crafting. It can be harvested by killing KairukuMantisHesperornis and Karkinos, ark organic polymer. It can also be acquired as a loot drop from Deathworm and by gathering from specific plants on Aberration. It spoils in thirty minutes.
Recently i've started to craft lots of tek items and keeping up with regular polymer is a pain. You guys think it's better off to farm penguins with a pelagornis? Loads of organic poly, shove it in the Replicator as a substitute for Poly, this will be saving me a few obsidian runs.. To answer your question I recommend only using organic where possible and stockpile your hard poly for an emergency.

Most of the guides I've came across are killing Kairukus Penguins in the snowy area of the map. However, the area that I'm established in is on the other side of the map south area. I really do not think its a good idea to travel to the northwest side of the map with the level and gears I have. There are a few places not far from my base my base that spawns Hesperornis bird looking creatures that lives in rivers , but they come in too few of a number and spawns rarely to provide the amount of organic polymers I need to maintain my ghillie armor. Is there any alternatives of farming said resource, or is there a spot where I can farm a huge number of Hesperornis near the lower half of the map? Showing 1 - 15 of 33 comments.

Killing Crabs on Aberration will give you loads of organic polymer. If you use a high melee, organic poly specialty Moschops you'll get even more. The trick is to whistle the Moschop to harvest the corpse. It's efficiency, if ridden, is extremely nerfed. Ragnarok has easier access to cementing paste than the island so that would probably be your best map.
If players are having a hard time gathering regular Polymer in ARK: Survival Evolved , they should consider trying to obtain some Organic Polymer as well. Organic Polymer can be used for almost everything that regular Polymer is used for , though, with a few small exceptions. With that said, gathering and using Organic Polymer will be a bit different, so those wishing to harvest lots of this commodity in ARK: Survival Evolved should be sure to explore and experiment as needed. There are 3 main ways of getting Organic Polymer in ARK: Survival Evolved : by killing creatures that drop it, by harvesting some from specific tamed creatures, or by grinding up specific items using an Industrial Grinder. There are more specific and high-yield methods, yet those listed below are the less tedious and dangerous methods. This farming method for the desired resource will likely be the most time-consuming and difficult unless players have tamed creatures or weapons that can deal a lot of damage to targets. Even so, it would still be the least efficient means of obtaining Organic Polymer, albeit the easiest. Here are all the creatures that drop Organic Polymer when they are killed :. After a creature is killed and looted, players can actually get even more Organic Polymer from the corpses by hitting them with a Chainsaw, Sword, or Wooden Club similar to how one gets wood from a tree by using other tools. Since the AI of many creatures can allow them to wander, forage, hunt, and gather resources on their own, players can let their non-human allies help in obtaining more of this resource.

Organic Polymer is a resource that is required to create the Ghillie Set which cannot be crafted with standard Polymer and is obtainable in an organic manner. It is impossible to create Organic Polymer, but regular Polymer on the other hand which can be crafted is still a more stable option for other crafting. There are a few ways in which you can obtain Organic Polymer, which mostly involves obtaining them from creatures by killing or natural production. One of the best ways to get Organic Polymer is by killing certain creatures as only a few creatures in Ark Survival Evolved can be harvested for it.

Not to my knowledge The tools and creatures are the most efficient at harvesting Organic Polymer from the Kairuku, ranked in order of effectiveness. Just keep the raft close to shore to avoid the leedsichthys. They will be easy to spot in the dark and dank Aberration, so it is recommended to search for them there, however, these white plants also grow in Valguero. Changes and updates may occur, but we'll monitor developments and update this guide as needed. To answer your question You guys think it's better off to farm penguins with a pelagornis? Particularly the places which are connected to the irradiated area directly, but aren't irradiated themselves. Tame a snail or ten?

Obsidian can only be obtained on mountains and other dangerous areas, whereas Organic Polymer has to be crafted with Stone and Chitin or Keratin — which are in turn harvested from creatures with shells, horns or exoskeletons. Like when harvesting Organic Polymer from corpses, players will need a Chainsaw, Sword, or Wooden Bat to gather the goods. Exchange yields.
