However I always encounter "Swap Activity Warning". I have to restart Virtuoso to recover normal operation speed. I think it is because Virtuoso can not release allocated memory. Is ther any method to recover normal operation speed without restarting Virtuoso? In the latest manual it details a cyclic select where you can cycle thru all objects under the cursor. The manual says you start this by "cntrl-y". This does not work as "cntrl-y" is not bound to anything. I looked thru all the Cadence supplied bindkey files and "cntrl-y" is not bound in any of them. So then I searched thru the Skill code using Finder and did not find anything related to cyclic selecting. I seem to remember this working at some time in the past. How do you set the partial select so that it is off by default when a new cell is opened?
