Sometimes, as we explore DMZ, we will find ourselves without our insured weapon, and that can be a little frustrating. But worry not, as with Dead Drops, we can mitigate this problem with a little bit of cash. Dead Drops allow you to safely extract items and cash without heading to a public exfil and risking all the loot you have managed to collect. Keep in mind that the items put into the Dead Drop are not saved but instead converted to a cash value that will reduce your insured weapon cooldown. We will detail where you can find each drop starting with Al Mazrah and noting their location on the Tac Map grid. Al Mazrah has six Dead Drops, but do note they are fairly condensed toward the center and lower-middle section of the map. With a little skulking around you should find it fairly quickly. The Zarqwa Hyrdoelectric Dead Drop is a very easy one to find. Zaya Observatory is a large area, but concentrating your efforts to the Northeast will make this endeavor a breeze. The Dead Drop is nestled between a trio of buildings. Al Sharim Pass can be a tricky one to navigate as heavily armored bots are usually patrolling this area. Take due caution as you approach. The Dead Drop is behind the southernmost building at the very top of the mountain. Ahkdar Village is swarming with enemy AI and heavily armored foes ready to gun you and your teammates down. Take care as you approach the center bazaar, as that is where the Dead Drop is hiding.

Updated on November 18, a. On the east side of Al Bagra Fortress, there will be a building on the outskirts. If you find the building, you should be able to spot the dumpster. This one is going to require you to watch out for enemies. The Akhdar village center dead drop is surrounded by AI that wants to see you sent back with nothing. Find the building to the south, diagonally, of the hill and there should be a dumpster there on the west side. Head to Zarqwa Hydroelectric, spot the bridge, and voila.
