March 11, Ask a new question. I accidentally uninstalled my keyboard driver and lost it in the device manager. I have tried all means to get it back including restarting my pc and haven't succeeded. Click Start , and type devmgmt. Click Action , and then click Scan for hardware changes.

If another keyboard works ok, it most likely means you have to get your internal one repaired, and you can stop worrying about whatever might have happened to your software.
