Problematic in many ways, but light-hearted and silly enough to be totally enjoyable, A Good Day to Be a Dog is here! So don your suspension of disbelief helmet, and get ready for transmogrification, tons of wacky characters, and some unabashed hilarity. This was actually a clever decision, because it gives the entire drama this twinge of offbeatness, and makes the craziness of the story always feel like a madcap fairytale instead of a drama that we have to take too seriously. Like, literally runs. Their childhood friend once gave her a peck on the lips, she turned into a dog, and then he quickly — on command — kissed her back to her human form, thus breaking the curse. Still, am I the only one who wondered about this for the entire two episodes? And Bo-gyeom seems pretty perfect: affable, handsome, and a dog-lover.

I'm loving this show, it's so bright and happy. I am pretty convinced that Cha Eun-woo just took this role because he loves math, and that scene just provided more evidence for that.

High school Korean literature teacher Han Hae-na suffers from an extremely unusual curse: If she kisses a man, she is doomed to turn into a dog every night, although she returns to human form in the morning. There is only one way to break the curse — and that involves receiving a kiss from the same man who kissed her She has a crush on Lee Bo-gyeom, a colleague who teaches history at the same school. She is smitten with him, even claiming that he is the sole reason she wants to keep coming to work every morning. Unfortunately, although Jin Seo-won is extremely handsome, he is also terrified of dogs due to a traumatic event in his past. He also has a natural aversion to her. Now Han Hae-na must find a way to win his heart — and get him to kiss her — or spend the rest of her life as a pooch!

People have different taste I guess. It's as cute as the webcomic also, see my fanwall for more on differences between drama vs webcomic. His chemistry with Park Gyuyoung is also something to speak about. I found this to be super cute and fun start. I love how bright everything is - it made me laugh when Yoo-na gave Hae-na some dress options that included a black one. Your prose really set the tone enough to entice even a dog traumatized person to give the drama a try. I guess if we an older actress like Gong Hyo-jin, gosh they would have really hit it out of the park. It's funny how much Seon-Woo just straight up despises Ms. This is how I imagined Haena and Seowon when I was reading the webtoon. Thanks for the recap missvictrix. Manjitnam Cha Eunwoo is excellent with this Jin Seowon tsundere role, as expected, with his eye-acting always on point. I loved it when Seo-won was solving the math problem in the escape room and everyone else was like, "That's not it, come and help us over here! I like Cha Eun-woo for this, but I understand your hesitancy. It took me a full minute just to type transmogrification just to get the definition but now I'm a pro! Eunwoo is doing a good job of playing the cold reserved teacher. Unit, thanks for the recap! Dramas that adapt webtoons sometimes put their own "spin" on the story. Most importantly, FL successfully graduated from tactless stalker to not-so-secret anti-dog bodyguard and that was really cute. Gyuyoung and Cha Eunwoo were great as Haena and Seowon and of course the dog was so cute! Still, am I the only one who wondered about this for the entire two episodes?
